Aqua - Seal
Baptistry Option
Aqua - Seal is an option for all model baptisteries that allows for water to remain in the baptistery for an extended time. Aqua - Seal baptisteries are manufactured using super high quality vinyl ester resin as a sealer to the gel-coated surface. This process is used extensively in the marine industry on large fiberglass boats that remain in the water for extended periods. Below are several questions and answers for this process.
Q. How long can we leave water in the baptistery?
A. PFI recommends draining the water every (3) three months for routine cleaning with a mild detergent.
Q. What type of chemicals should we use in our water?
A. Normal pool/spa type chemicals will not harm the gel-coat when used correctly.
Q. How hot can we have the baptistery water?
A. 103° F. maximum
Q. How much does this option cost?
A. An additional 25% of the baptistery price
Q. What is the warranty?
A. The same as our regular warranty including gel-coat blistering.
Q. Can this process be added to an existing baptistery?
A. No This process must be done during manufacturing. |
