Church Pew REFINISHING-The Affordable Alternative
Thank you for your interest in our Church Pew Refinishing and Upholstering or Reupholstering existing church pews and/or furniture.
One of our sales staff will visit with you to determine the condition of your cjurch pews, to see if any existing defects do exist which could make it unwise to proceed with refinishing. All work requested will be detailed in a written contract to church for approval. We will be happy to work with you on fabric selections and stain colors for your furniture.
Our trained personnel come to your church and remove your church pews and furniture to be refinished. Usually a church finds this an excellent time to change floor coverings and paint while the room is empty. If your church can't let all of your church pews go at once, we sometimes work out taking out the church pews in sections. Usually, your church pews are only gone for approx. 3- 6 Sundays, depending on the size of the job. If your church has any special time requirements, make these known to your salesman and we will work to your schedule if possible.
When the church pews are returned our crew will realign and reattach to floor.
PROCEDURE:
Church Pews arrive at shop and are immediately stripped down to bare wood. Any repairs necessary are made at this time, and any parts beyond repair are replaced.
After complete dry time and sanding procedures, we then bring furniture back to a new finish. Our stains are all hand rubbed. WE WILL NOT USE TONERS. We do not recommend changing from a very dark stain back to a natural or very light color stain. Usually, we do not apply your new stain selection to a bookrack, cardholder, etc. and return this to church for verification. Church Pews and furniture are then upholstered with specified fabric, and new foam if needed. The Pews will then be returned to the church at a predetermined date. YOUR CHURCH WILL LOVE THE LOOK!
